Stay At Home Jobs – The Good Kind

Who doesn't want to stay at home and work multiple jobs making a lot of money? To be honest I did not at first see this as a real option. It took a fateful day at "the job" (LOL) to wake me up. And when I say fateful, I mean dreadful.



Have you ever walked into a place and knew you did not want to be there? Have you had a day where you just wanted to stay at home searching for new jobs? Yes, that was me. As soon as I walked into the center I knew there was trouble brewing.



I walked to my terminal, logged in and BAM! The first call of the day. Anyone who works in any sort of call center environment knows what I am talking about. The worse call is usually the first call of the day. I could have had tears in my eyes. Why? As soon as the phone beeped on, "HELLO! Anyone there?!" When you hear that you know that the call is downhill from there.



For five minutes I was called many things. Oh mind you, it was nothing positive. It was all simply dreadful. While the participant (ppt is our abbreviation for them, just a little CSA info) was yelling at me I was thinking, "Hey, is there a such thing as stay at home jobs"?



Then I got the CSA (Customer Service Associate) version of "Woe is me". I diffused the situation, however mentally I was injured. For years I answered phones. My bills were still late (and I wasn't a big spender). More bills were coming (all medical, aren't they always?). I needed more ways to make money. Also, I needed to do all this while staying at home!



That's when I woke up. At night I started searching, looking. I first started with the guru's (what a joke, a joke that leaves you broke). After my bank account rapidly disappeared I left that one alone. I made a little bit of money doing survey's (this helped my self esteem, I actually did this for a part time income).



But, not to get off my point. I graduated from there to doing jobs online and soon I had the legendary multiple streams of income (I had to work for it though).



So, in short, stay at home jobs are real. They are not some made up fairy tale. However, you do not have to bump your head like I did (and did again and again).
