Ka-billion Doesn't Exist. How Not To Write Ads.

The Truth. Sounds good. Looks good. But what place does it have in today's marketing world? It has everything to do with it. Yes, you can make mounds of cash online. Yes, you can make a living online.
But, integrity is very important. Telling the truth is what separates you from... them.

And who is them you ask? The ad copy zombies, that's who. Down to your last one hundred dollars in ad dollars, and the urge starts taking over. No conversions today. Clicks but no conversions. You can feel the urge taking over you. Your fingers start hovering. Twitching.

Already you have highlighted the text. Left hand moves towards Ctrl-C. You try to fight it. You grab the left wrist but to no avail you fail. The text has been copied. Sweat begins to pour. You move the mouse pointer over the box. You cannot resist any longer.

CTRL-V! It's over. You have now become the lyin- I mean living marketer. Did you even look at the statement you copied? Do you even know what monstrosity you have unleashed upon the unsuspecting newbies of the internet?

GASP! Its too late. Already posted. Good thing you didn't post this on Google Adwords, or else the G-Pirates (G standing for Google) might shut you down.

All you had to do was take a few minutes and think. What type of ad would I like to read? What would interest me? I am not knocking what you do. I have done it. Many times. But I have to fight the urge also and take a few moments and write.

In the end you feel better and you are adding value to your advertisements. So next time the urge comes to transform into the marketing undead just smile with confidence and know you do have the ability to tell the truth, be honest, and make a lot of money online. Believe in yourself.
